Chapter II: Train Ride and Trixie

Sunset Shimmer POV

As we rode the early train to Hogwarts we chatted and read The Quibbler. Rainbow Dash was happily creating the flight formation plans and game tactics for the Gryffindor Quidditch team, since she's Captain and Chaser.

“The Great and Powerful Trixie has arrived!” interrupted Trixie, Apparating rather lodly (and rudely, come to think of it).

“Um, Trixie? What do you need?” asked Fluttershy, deadpanning.

“Where is my potion kit?” demanded Trixie. “I think you left it in the Potions Lab.” said Rarity.

“Thanks.” said Trixie stiffly, also deadpanning.

'She is a totally self-obsessed snob.' I thought.

“Sonata, you okay?” I asked.

“Yeah. I'm ok” she said, quietly.

“I'm glad we're friends and we're in the same House.” I said.

“Me too.”

“Omigoshohmygoshomygosh! Yes! YES! Thanks Rares,” squealed Rainbow Dash.

“These are soooo soft!” exclaimed Twilight.

“Thank you Rarity!” added Fluttershy.

I saw Rarity blushing as Sonata repressed the urge to giggle. The girls were twittering away at the softness and lightness of the new Quidditch robes Rarity made herself. Dash, Twi, Flutters, Derpy, Thunderlane, Blossomforth, and Scootaloo are all on her Quidditch team.

Pinkamena was ranting about the party that she was planning with her sister and Cheese Sandwich.

‘I think he's her crush that she told me about!'

My thoughts were interrupted when RD said that we were almost there. I immediately put on my Slytherin uniform, as did Sonata. Twilight, Rarity, and SB put on their Ravenclaw ties on their blouses.

RD and Scootaloo yanked their Gryffindor ones, even though Dash kinda almost choked herself.

AJ, AB,Pinkie, and Pinkamena put on the Hufflepuff uniform.

Babs put her uniform on, fuming. I could tell because her ears go red when she's mad. Her ears were bright scarlet. “What's wrong?” I asked.

“Well,” she began“ Being in Slytherin, like you, I am not angry because of that, but because, DT and SS tease me constantly about me having my BFF's in other Houses.” snapped Babs.

“Just relax.” I said “Guess who I have to put up with? Trixie.” I spat, distastefully.

“Yeesh.” she replied. "She's a high-class little twit, and it's probably hard for you not to jinx her in the hallways"

I started giggling, "Yeah. At least I hope that you don't jinx her!"

Babs laghed as well, "Yeah. Nobody wants detention on the first day!"

“Girls, looks like we've arrived!” said AJ.

“Yay!” squealed Fluttershy. I was so excited to see the castle again. Little did I know that this year is going to be pretty interesting.
